UNSW Science 50:50 Symposium at the Maritime Museum - 8 March 2016
UNSW Science is co-hosting a free Women in Science Symposium at the Australian National Maritime Museum, with the aim to encourage high school girls to look beyond lab coats and see the diversity of careers and opportunities in science.
Chaired by Scientia Professor Veena Sahajwalla, the morning session will include a range of speakers from areas including marine science, climate, ecology and innovation.
This free symposium for high school girls will be presented at the Australian National Maritime Museum to celebrate International Women’s Day 2016.

UNSW Science & Engineering Parent/Student Info Night - 23 March 2016
UNSW Departments of Science and Engineering have teamed up to present an informative evening for future students and their parents. This event will include presentations from academic staff and students, exciting science demonstrations, exhibitions and a careers expo. Refreshments will be served and there will be many opportunities to speak to students and staff about science and engineering degrees and life at UNSW.
