Fresh Science at UNSW 2016
Fresh Science is a national competition that selects passionate, talented young scientists to present their work to the public and the media.
Students and teachers are invited to hear the state’s brightest new researchers talk about their research, results and discoveries.
Topics covered:
- Filtering blood to remove cancer cells
- Remembering what you didn’t have time to see
- Magic crystals that soak the energy out of coal
The event also includes participation through interactive science activities and a campus tour.

UNSW Science Year 10 Work Experience 2016
After the success of our pilot work experience program in 2015, we are currently accepting applications for 2016 UNSW Science Year 10 Work Experience.
Our work experience program aims to give students the opportunity to:
- Gain insight and experience into the faculty’s everyday work, which involves a diverse array of sciences
- Learn what it’s like to be a scientist
- Explore their career and study interests
