The National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) greatly appreciates the continued support of several renewing partner organisations in 2025. This support is critical in enabling NYSF to inspire a highly diverse and talented future STEM workforce for Australia. We thank the following organisations for their renewed support: Host University Partner, The University of Queensland, Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG), The University of Adelaide, CSIRO, NSW Office of the Chief Scientist Engineer, and a two-year partnership with UNSW Sydney. These partnerships are instrumental in helping NYSF connect young Australians with diverse pathways in science and technology.
NYSF also welcomes the continued support of longstanding partner CSL, one of the world’s leading biotechnology companies. As Gold Partner for 2025, CSL provides the NYSF with essential support to engage more young Australians with STEM careers. A long-term partner since 2008, CSL’s ongoing involvement in the NYSF Year 12 Program provides participants with unique experiences and insights into the biotechnology, biomedical research and pharmaceutical industries.
NYSF is also thrilled to announce that ADF Careers will continue as a Silver Partner for 2025. ADF Careers plays an essential role in introducing participants to a range of STEM careers within the Australian Defence Force, including engineering, cyber security, medical roles, and logistics. ADF Careers' ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion aligns with NYSF’s mission to inspire students from all backgrounds to explore STEM pathways, particularly those from regional and remote areas.
Thanks to these long-term partnerships, NYSF participants gain access to leading scientists, cutting-edge facilities, and a broad network of professionals at different career stages. For young Australians, this exposure is essential to understanding the vast array of STEM careers and the innovative work taking place in research institutions and industry across the country.
“We are proud to continue our partnerships with such a diverse group of organisations that allow NYSF participants to see what the real jobs and workplaces are in STEM. You can’t be or strive for what you can’t see, so these relationships underpin all we do at NYSF to connect young Australians with their science and technology futures," said Dr. Melanie Bagg, CEO of the NYSF.
"Each partner brings unique insights that inspire our participants and enable them to really see what the job is like. Thanks to our Partners, over 15,000 young Australians have explored their potential and found pathways that align with their interests and passions.”
Thanks to this valuable support and collaboration, NYSF can support young people from all backgrounds, including those from regional and remote Australia, and from disadvantaged backgrounds.
NYSF is looking forward to another successful year of partnerships and continued engagement with our partner organisations. Together, we can further inspire and guide Australia’s next generation of STEM leaders.
